waWow, This is probably one of the most practical mods I've come across for the A5. In my persuit of knowledge, I was perusing the internet when low and behold, I came across someone that turns his E-trigger on with a screw that is embeded in the trigger.
Im gonna post a brief walk through on what I did to get this mod to work..
E-Trigger Screw Mod
1. First, remove the E-Trigger from the A5 main body, be careful removing the pins that hold it on, these can break if too much force is used.
2. Next, remove the top 3 phillips screws and place them in a safe place.
3. Now remove the hex screw at the bottom of the trigger. This allows you to remove the gas line elbow. Remove the Elbow and everything should look like this..
4. Now, here is where you grab a small screw and try to fit in the top most hole on the handle. The space is tight, so you may have to grind the screw down.. Here is a pic of the holes so you get an idea of what I am referring to.
5. Take a screw that youve measure to size *as best you can and see if it fits. If not you may have to grind it down a bit. Too much on the outside of the trigger, you will be turning your A5 on or off at the most inoppertune times.
You will need to measure the distances and mark the screw accordingly.
6. Here is what I did, I used a grinding wheel and plyers. Clamp the screw in the plyers and grind the screw to size. It helps if you mark the screw the way I mentioned above. Make sure you get rid of any burs. Would not want any hand injuries on the field!!

7. Clean the screw and test fit it into the E-Trigger *the grinding wheel causes metal pieces to magnetically stick to the screw if you're using steel screws*. Make sure to turn the E-Trigger on by pressing the screw to check for clearance. If you did not remove enough material from the screw, the trigger could remain on and drain your battery!!
Screw in place and test fitted.
8. Put the E-trigger back together and test again. Cant be too careful now, can we?
If you have followed my procedures correctly, you will have one heck of an easy to use E-Trigger.
