I can tell you from experience this doesn't work. I know being on the receiving end I can always tell when the OpFor knows my location and when they are just spraying in my direction. If your opponent is worth his salt (which the one described in this scenario was) he will know that you have no idea where he is.

How often do you carry smoke grenades? I have never seen you use them in a game Tacsnipa.
