I always thought airsoft was lame compared to paintball. Till I tried it. it has more realizim to it in the fact that you don't have a huge hopper sticking out of the gun. A good AEG will cost about the same as a tippmann 98 or A5. The main reason I got interested in airsoft is the price of the bb's. With having 3 sons playing paintball I was going broke buying paint for all of us. The biggest problem in Airsoft is the calling of hits. In Paintball the paint hit leaves a mark, in airsoft yo have to call it yourself. This not calling is the cause of 95% of the problems. In paintball it's called wiping.

Other than that the very close to MilSim is the beat part of it....
Other than the cost.....

People don't wipe in paintball, your just talking nonsense. The whole dead rag thing is odd. I can see why they use it to signal they are out but just odd going from paintball to airsoft.

I like the Dead Rag, Most Airsoft games use Medics and the rags help out a lot there. You can also tell at a quick glance who is out.

Since I can't find anyone to play paintball in the cold I'd love to try it Ender...especially if yoyu would be willing to let me use one of your guns to see if I like it before I bought one...
