Give me a freaking break. Is it their goal to make the game as un-fun for the average player as possible. I am sorry I just can not possibly justify spending $80 to go play against an opponent I can't eliminate within the rules of the game! I don't care if head shots and "mortars" still kill them, that is just stupid. It truly upsets me because I would love to go play. |

Re: World At War 2 @ BFPB
I agree 100%. Completely unnecessary and serves no purpose to enhance the game for any players on the field. Paintball is a simple game. Stupid rules and shit like this just continues to contribute to its decline. It discourages new players from sticking with the sport and alienates regulars who pay a lot of money to have a bad experience because field owners continue to over complicate events. I don't care who you are, if you are hit, you are out. Any other rule is ****ing dumb. |

Just throw your marker on auto and hold down the trigger until a) hit them in the head or b) they have had enough.

Re: World At War 2 @ BFPB
.......Just read the thread to this point.......
OMG PPFFTT! really? Screw BF. Im sorry no can say I dident give them a chance, I showed up for so many "games" at bf and by the end of the "day" (which usually consists of 2-3 unorganized games overseen by 0-2.2 unarmed players(refs)), I find my self considering the money/crappy paint/fun ratio. I usually only get the first two components above zero. But most likely I will still find myself showing up there a few times a year just so I can play with the air horn. (Down off my soap box about BF). PS 400-500 players??........(Are there actually that many players in NE Ohio??)

Re: World At War 2 @ BFPB
I have been reading some encouraging things about BF finally listening to suggestions and enforcing chrono tags. They also finally got a real paint vendor and will have a consistent paint supply hopefully.
These were a couple of the big gripes. We also should hope they decide to make an effort and change the culture of cheating they have built at the field. |

I personally have only met Fets and...I think someone else but I cant remember, from Neosmut and I'd love to meet the rest of you face to face. My dad and I plan on going to it because it will almost literally be the last time I get a chance to play paintball for the next 4-8 years. We always have a blast. Personal preference...personal preference. Just don't bag on a field for whatever reason. Try to improve the field and even possibly email the owners with some suggestions on what they could change/ add/ remove/ etc... Negativity breeds negativity.

However, everyone is willing to give them a 2nd chance (I guess it is more like a 12th chance, but whatever). We genuinely like the owners, and like the field and want to play there.... it is the culture that has been created that ruins it. So we are very hopeful that this game is well reffed and that it is a great time! And I know I have done my share to try and improve it! You can lead a horse to water.... |

Re: World At War 2 @ BFPB
My understanding is a head or body shot, legs & arms do not eliminate them. I'll get clarification.

Re: World At War 2 @ BFPB
We (Dog Soldiers) love the field and can't wait to play. We have 2 previous issues we hope are resolved; shooting hot and a lack of refs. It'll just be great to be out there slingin paint with good talent across the board.
