I was thinking of something not so complicated for an ambush. A cell phone activated marker encased in a non-descript ammo box. Wouldn't be able to aim, but could cause a lot of confusion if applied correctly.

Actually, this system would be fairly easy to produce. The most expensive item would be that tripod...it looks to be a nice heavy duty one. besides the tripod, everything else including the electronics would be cheap to acquire. The only application that I could see for such a device, other than a stationary bunker emplacement, would be a MILSIM PRODUCTS command vehicle turret gun. The turret would be able to telescope up and down.

too much money. But it would be cool to have if you owned a large MilSim field and made alot of money at it. And hope it stands up to alot of paintball fire. I know I would sure be aiming to take it out.
