As of right now I think I will be playing Saturday, and camping Saturday night and departing Sunday morning. I will most likely not be camping Friday night, but I would like to change that. Still working on it.

Maybe I will camp friday night and come home Saturday night... the key to it working seems to be the one night clause.

In the most respestful way, she does realize we really need you there....it just would be weird if you didnt go...its the one weekend we look forward to all year like christmas in the summer...its our superbowl....but at the same time I respect the fact that you have family resposibilities and family is always first...but please try and squeeze in the weekend...reagardless will respesct you decision.

You know, maybe I just don't understand women, but I'd think a woman would consider two things....

Do I want my husband to get his fill of paintball before the birth?

Do I want him nagging me for permission to go paintballing every weekend after the kid is born?

oh shit! ok. this is the way i see it. because im experienced in this type of shit. this is for real. listen up. i am in no way putting you down or talking bad about you or your wife. i just know what's going to happen. first of all you said only one day you are going to go and your wife said she dosen't want you to go at all. it makes no sense to just go one day. if your that far away then your that far away. one day aint going to bring you home any faster. both of you guys need to see that point and then tell us if you are going to be there the two days of not. and if your not ......well your paintball days are definatly numbered. which is not a bad thing just need to know the kid will take up about 90% of your paintball time. just don't get into a fight about it. tell her this is probally going to be the last time i play for a very very long time and, well like RENO said its our superbowl. 2 days out of 365 is what your askin for!

I have to agree with 8up and Reno. At the same time though, you have to consider how she's doing with the pregnancy. My wife had a good 1st trimester- no nausea, etc. but about mid to late 2nd had zero energy to do anything. I had to pick up the slack. I also don't think it's the time rather than the distance.

your call Fets but 1 day is better than none like me! I am going to try and make some games later, but right now the kid sleeps and eats on his own schedule.
