ROME,

I had a similar experience when I purchased my RAP4 T68 Gen2 marker. I really thought they sold me a lemon, because I was on the phone with tech support for days trying to get it working. After reading on the RAP4 forum a few old suggestions, I decided to tear it down completely. I mean down to the smallest bolt and screw. Well, after I put the marker back together, I had an incredible performance increase. It was like I had a completely different marker. No problems since; however, I do break it down completely to clean and oil it, so it does require a little TLC.

You should try this, open up your marker and inspect it for internal scratches, metal or plastic shavings, check o-rings for unusual wear, just look it over completely. Then clean it up and oil what must be oiled and then give it another try; but not at a game where you will be frustrated if things don't go according to plan.

Good luck.

From what I have read, you are unhappy with the A5, so you may never be truly unbiased enough to give the marker enough effort to make it fit your style. So if you can get $250 for your marker, then I would suggest you go for it as quick as possible before the other person changes their mind. Just my opinion.
