Doesn't seem like a great trade. I am not sure, but I think Imp's are really de-valued anymore. RedMonkey might have a better idea, he sold his about a year ago.

Not to mention that Impulse isn't even assembled in the photo.

Kinda hard for anyone to say if that is a good trade or not. It depends on what you are looking for in a marker. That cocker is a lot different than an Imp which is a lot different than an A5.

What is your reason for selling the A5 and what are you looking for in your next marker?

he was chatting on aim with me about this really he wants a new marker cus hes a big dumb NEWB! he agreed and then it was a newb calling fest hahaha no not really he said that he is moving soon and will be closer to encounter sports and that he was going to get more into speedball so thats why he is looking for a more speedballl oriented marker but i mean i only know what he told me i told him to go for the cocker becuase its a better piece ( imho) but i also it takes some tinkering and what not and isnt the average marker

Well i said i MIGHT be moving... anyway

I really want cash for the gun but i dont know what to ask for it , and it probably wont be enough to get a new marker. I was looking at the Tiberius Arms T9 since i saw it can take a remote and hopper, and its reviewed good on pbreview.com. I know ghostman had one on his table a few times but i really never looked at it .

I like the fact that it can be hopper or magazine fed/ remote or c02 cartridges.

Im selling my A5 because ive had problems with it since i got it and i still dont know if it works right , at 4pack my gun would not shoot over 240-260 and everyone elses gun was fine, i ended up wasting money on a new spring at the trailer and that did absolutely nothing. I would really like to sell the marker locally so i wouldnt have to mess with shipping but at the same time i need enough money to get a new marker

Well, whatever marker you choose I encourage you to take more time and learn it. A5 is a very simple marker, and if you are having problems keeping it working you are going to be really frustrated with an auto cocker unless you actually take the time to understand it.

The Tiberius markers are really nice and I have heard good things about them. If you are not sure of how much to ask for your A5, consider putting it on ebay and let the market determine its worth. My guess is you will be disappointed in how much you get for it, they do not retain their value very well (Paintball markers in general).

If I were buying it, I would not give you more than $180 for it with the barrels & stock (based on my used equipment formula that I use). So maybe that helps give you an idea of what to expect, maybe not.

Ill keep checking around on spec ops , i see a guy trying to sell his a5 with a m4 stock for $220 and he got offers..

Ive tried everything there is to possibly do on that gun and it only shoots 240-250 and sometimes leaks, i was pumped to get this gun but i think i wasted my money and should of went with a ION, ive never used it more then half a scenario without it screwing up..

Wait are you selling or trading? If selling like Fets showed you wont get that much money at least not enough to get a new gun. I would trade.

ROME,

I had a similar experience when I purchased my RAP4 T68 Gen2 marker. I really thought they sold me a lemon, because I was on the phone with tech support for days trying to get it working. After reading on the RAP4 forum a few old suggestions, I decided to tear it down completely. I mean down to the smallest bolt and screw. Well, after I put the marker back together, I had an incredible performance increase. It was like I had a completely different marker. No problems since; however, I do break it down completely to clean and oil it, so it does require a little TLC.

You should try this, open up your marker and inspect it for internal scratches, metal or plastic shavings, check o-rings for unusual wear, just look it over completely. Then clean it up and oil what must be oiled and then give it another try; but not at a game where you will be frustrated if things don't go according to plan.

Good luck.
