Hey Guys, Impressive site! Makes me want to give up on the pathetic start of a site my team has going!

I'm Brian from Total Resistance. I've played against you guys a few times (Battle of the bulge in Jan i think, BHD, and the 4 pack) , but I don't think I've ever ended up on the same side though...

I'm looking for an XO (Executive officer) for the upcoming game at Battlefront. I am the American General. Being that I don't know the field as well as some people (I live about 2 hours away) I'm looking for someone who does for that position. I was thinking about asking you guys if anyone was interested, then Chappy suggested it too and I figured I should stop thinking about it and ask already!

The person who plays XO won't be stuck in the tent all day if they don't want, I should be there for the duration of the game, but it would be really nice to have an adviser who knows the field and has team experience!

If anyone is interested, let me know, it would be GREAT to have you guys on board, even if you don't want to play as XO it would be nice to have the opportunity to have you guys on the American side!

Thanks for stopping by first of all. Chappy emailed me about being XO for you, but I am afraid I will be out of town that weekend as of right now.

I was going to suggest Dobbs as a good XO, but I just checked the RSVP for the TET and he indicated he will not be able to attend. However, there are many guys on this team who would be perfect for the role, I hope you get a response.

I wish you the best of luck and would gladly play on the American team if I were attending. I hope to play along side you in the future.

Thanks anyway for the interest. Being I was just going with name recognition from the forums, Fets, you were my first choice. With the size of the team you guys have, I'm sure your right though, there has to be a TON of people who would be great for it.

if no one else can i would be able to. i wouldnt say i have awsome leadership skills but i know the field realy well and know how to get the job done . i have played with neosmut for several months now and have helped helped out as often as posible. i wouldnt mind staying in the tent for a while and radio you of the new advancements, if you wanted to be on the front lines.

all great leaders started some where.

Leadership is something that you aren't necessarily born with, but its something you can work on! I'm not necessarily looking for someone with the best skills in leadership as much as someone who knows the field and knows a lot of the people there!

Your exactly right that leaders get their start somewhere! This will be my first game in this kind of position. I have been my Team commander and I have been the defacto commander at multiple scenario games, but never the official leader!

If you want the job, you have it. I'll be in the tent at all times (unless I have a severe bathroom attack) since I broke my foot anyway, so its not super important you hang around, but is always helpful. I'm looking for someone who can help with communication (which you said you could do) and planning (since I don't know the field as well as some).

The real requirements are that you DO NOT cheat (which being your on Neosmut I doubt you would) and number 2 you have to be a good sportsman. We have some joking smack talk going back and forth but nothing personal or serious. We are there to win, but not if it means we have to do it that way!

If your in, let me know, I'll post it on the other forum and get the ball rolling.

Just wanted to clarify, that aquateen is not actually a member of Team N.E.O.S.M.U.T., but in my experience and from what I have heard, I have not known him to cheat on the field. Good luck guys!

Thanks for the clarification on that. That is a perfect example of the weakness I will have at the game, I don't know everyone as well as I would like to. I do appreciate the mention of not knowing him to cheat, that is more important to me then winning!

That also leads me to a question, have you guys as a team decided which side you are going to play on?

im definetly in.

i have to many radios, so i dont think communication should be a problem. i dont cheat and im an overall good sportsman, eccept for the fairly occasional muttered swear word.

I don't think we are going to have a huge turnout at the game from our team. Seems like most of the guys have a lot of stuff going on right now.

But since you asked, I encourage all NEOSMUT'ers join bpoydence's team and help him out, if you are going to the game.
