Hey, my name is Dalton. I have been playing paintball for 2 years now down at battlefront paintball(my uncle is part owner along with dave, mark, and brent). I own two guns right now. A proto rail and a outkast auto cocker with a J&J barel kit. In the future i would like to see my self playing on a sppl team. Know theres some stuff about me and i would injoy seeing some of you down at bfp sometime soon.....

halfpint, welcome to our site. We've been to Battlefront many, many times, but don't have plans to be there again anytime soon. We're playing some more local fields and and branching out. We might attempt an open game or two later in the year, or early next year. Thanks again for joining our community and feel free to use our forums, gallery, classifieds, reviews page etc...

Did they become not so good during my absence from paintball land?

It's not that theres anything wrong with them. It just that if you planned on selling it you wouldnt get alot for it...

I was starting to worry. I haven't even got to play with my SP8 yet, and I was hearing that Ions suck =)

I was thinking about getting an Ion for a second gun for my wife to use.

No... i never had a problem with mine..... But my cuzin on the other hand. I think he broke his like 5 times already because, he never takes care of it. So as long as you do some general maintnance you should be good....

Not every marker needs maintnance.... just look at m98c you can bet those guns to hell, and they can stil work with no problem. But when you get up into the more pricer guns ya, you yill need to take good care of them.....

Wasnt actually comparing those guns, i was refering to diffrent grades of markers...low end markers and high end markers......

basicly after 200-250 you start paying for looks and light weight markers... That or there brand name...
