Ghostman
Hello everyone, just wanted to stop by and say, ?hey.? My name is John A.K.A. Ghostman. I met a few of you last Sunday (8/20) at Battle Front; I had a black RAP4 vest on. I enjoyed playing at this field and meeting you guys. In my opinion, the field is a nice blend of woodsball and urban play (MilSim), which I prefer. To those individuals that I did meet, thanks for making me feel welcome.

I didnt get a chance to meet you at all, but after hearing your description I do remember playing with you.
I agree with you about the field. Ive played many places around western PA and havn't found anything comparable to battlefront yet. |

Hey Ghostman - I just replied to your PM. There were so many people running around that day, I really don't remember who I ran with. Were you a Jap or a Marine that day?
Regardless of which side you were on, I had a great time at Battlefront (as always). We; N.E.O.S.M.U.T. drive anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes to Battlefront - some of our team members even drove from Washington D.C. (KyleSito) to play with the team. How long have you been playing? What other fields do you frequent? |

KyleSito drives from Washington D.C. to play actually. Cyterio drives from North Pittsburgh.
Ghostman was on the Marine team (our team) - I remember playing with you at the very end as I said in my PM. I remember because you were willing to pull rear security for our platoon size group of Marines, which was very reassuring knowing someone was watching our six as we advanced! |

Hey Ghostman...
Welcome! I remember you being with us there as we went for the Marine HQ. I don't think we talked, but I remember the RAP4 vest (almost got one myself at one point). Welcome to the site, please feel free to get involved in the discussions, and we look forward to seeing you on the field again! - Redmonkey |

Thanks guys. If I did not personally introduce myself to you, I must apologize and say that I have never been very good at introductions.
I plan to be out at Battle Front again on the 23rd of September?that is if nothing crazy comes up. Thanks again everyone for making me feel welcome. Paintball background: As for paintball background, I have been playing off and on for over 23 years. My first main marker was a Tippmann SMG-60. This was when everyone was using pump guns. I just recently got back into the sport because I saw how much milsim markers have come. After I was introduced to the T68 from RAP4 I was hooked. Although I like my T68, I am thinking about buying an A5 as a standby marker (the T68 can be a maintenance-hog). |

Hey RedMonkey,
Thanks for the link to you?re A-5. I like you?re a-5 setup; however, you have a few too many accessories than I?m looking for. What I?m looking for is a basic A-5, flatline barrel, and an E-grip (single finger trigger). I have never shot the A-5, but I hear good things about it, and see many people using them. By the way, why are you selling yours? What are you using now? |

I have a flatline I don't really use that I would be willing to part with possibly. Let me know when you decide to buy one.

Fets, will do.
On a different note. Checking out everyone?s bio, I noticed that there is an overabundance of Sabre Medium/Riflemen positions and only a few that play Dagger, and Ambusher. I don?t bring this up out of criticism, but rather because I have been thinking about joining a group/team sometime in the near future, but you?re team may need other talents than what I have to offer. |

Don't look at the SpecOps profiles -- I think we're going to look into our own positioning and balance out the team accordingly. Only a few of us really do reflect those positions.

Yeah man, ignore that crap. I will take an entire team of medium rifleman any day!
We have a couple of guys that play flanker or Heavy Gunner. Magik is a great flanker & RedMonkey is our big gunner. JDobbs, RodentX & Kylesito make great flankers as well. Not to mention we have new people looking to join the team and at least one of them will be a great dagger/flanker. We are actually a really balanced team! |

I play the position of Spiritual Rifleman (Soul Taker) more so than anything else. Instead of shooting you, I just take your soul and you die. Makes it easier for all of us. :funny:
