Deacon for Delta Ops
Hey guys, Deacon form Delta Ops swinging by (http://teamdeltaops.proboards99.com/). Fets visited our forum and said your team might be interested in some smoke grenades. We pick them up from here; http://www.smokegrenade.net/Product/wholesaleorangesmokegrenade.htm We normally try to buy them 100 at a time, and we have a local guy who picks them up to save on S&H, so the final price is $6 each (these normally go for $12-$15). If you'd like to go in on an order with us, contact me or Viper on or forum for more info. Gotta run . . .

Wow, nice. We will look into that and let you know! I have seen those grenades in action and they put out an amazing volume of smoke! Thanks for stopping by.

Yeah, those orange smoke grenades are amazing. You could almost cloud up one whole end of the city at BF with ONE if they are the same as what I saw at MMG this summer.

While I agree they are an excellent tool, my big concern when throwing them, the smaller Pinnacle Woods ones I've carried recently, is to get them placed well enough in the throw so they are effective for our guys in providing cover. Last thing I want to do is throw smoke and have it be more menacing to our guys than the enemy which I think has happened recently a few times since these particular grenades are so light... you can't throw them more than like 30 feet or so with any accuracy. What kind of weight do these orange ones have on them in order to throw... or are they more of the kind where you have to get someone to place them in the best area? I've thought about taping something around the smaller ones to add weight to make them easier to grip when throwing, and provide more weigt to get more distance on the throw, but I don't know if that will be worth it, especially if these big ones are like $6 when buying bulk. |
