Wookie from the EPZ

I'm Erik, aka Wookie and member of EZ Company from the EPZ (index) . Got the name from the Ghillie Jacket I wear playing woodsball. I live in Erie, I was the one who brought 6 guys down with me to Operation Market Garden in October and had a blast. It was our first time at Battlefront, and surely will NOT be our last.

I hooked up with a few of you in the parking lot, met Ghostman who lives up here by me in the Erie area and was genuinely impressed with your hospitality. I am hoping with any future trips down to battlefront EZ Company can hook up with NEOSMUT to kick some behind. You guys seem to share the same set of ideas that many of the core members here in the EPZ are trying to instill in our organization.

See you around.

Hey Wookie, glad you stopped by. Personally, I would like the opportunity for NEOSMUT to role with you EZ company guys again. Maybe next time we can even coordinate maneuvers and attacks.

What big games does your organization go to? Maybe if we all decide to go to a big game (i.e. Oklahoma?s 10-year Anniversary, MMG, or Camp Blanding MOUT game in Florida, etc.) we can coordinate those as well.

Hey, have you decided if you?re going on the 19th to Battle Front yet?

Here's the deal.

The Erie Paintball Zone is made up of a half dozen or so seperate teams. We play every other week at various private fields in our area that our members have access to from spring through fall. Our website is our means of communication amongst the teams and also a way of recruiting other individual players or exisiting teams/groups of people from our geographical area who are already playing together. Just a way to make the games bigger and better through organization via the website.

My specific team, EZ Company (Band of Brothers) and another team--Team Sharpshooters--were the ones who came down for Operation Market Garden. I can see us making this a several time a year event. For some of us, maybe more. It is my hope that when we come down as a group we can hook up and combine forces with you guys......seperate teams but common goals. The more we get comfortable with you and vice versa the better overall games everyone has. It sure beats getting placed on one of the two teams for a scenario and not knowing who you're playing with or what their capabilities are.

Don't see us going as a team to any of the BIG games you mentioned anytime soon, but we'll work on that.

Not sure about the November scenario yet. I'm trying to talk everyone into it but with that Monday being Bear Season here in PA and half my team planning on being at my camp Sunday night......we'll have to see. At the very least might just be me cause I had such a good time last month. If that's the case I'll drop you an email if you'll have me!

Wookie, you should consider going to a big game next year. They are a great thing to do once a year or so. Last year a few of us went to the Michigan Mosnter Game (Wecome to Hell Survivors!) and had a great time. Next year we want to go back to Hell Survivors but maybe do the Global Conquest. That works by having 12 or so countries that act as seperate teams and teams can pre-register ahead of time for a country. We could all register for one of the countries and play together at it, including some other Ohio/PA teams.

Oh, and welcome to the forums!

I'd love to make those games, believe me. But with an 8 and 10 year old and all their activities, then my hunting and my flyfishing illnesses there isn't enough weekends in the year to do it all and still stay married!

Fun trying though!

Yeah, as of now my wife allows me 1 trip with the guys per year. It is my MMG trip (Global Conquest this year I think).

She knows that I will be gone the MMG weekend and we don't accept clients for our business during that weekend either. LOL

Aside from MMG

What if we take the families with us to Florida for the MOUT game???

Then they could go play at Disney, while we play paintball...
