My wife and I had planned to spend 2 nights in Mohican and do some canoing, but the rain had other plans. The river has been closed by the state and will remain that way for about 2 weeks I was told.

As a result, the campground had to tape off from the river back about 70 feet. You will see the caution tape in my photos.

But it was still a great time. We were forced to leave early with the river closed and another storm heading our way, but that is mother nature for you.

It sucks that the area was partially flooded, but I am glad to hear that you still had a good time.
