Does anybody know why the players have a round green or yellow-green sticker on the back of their helmets?

That signifies that that helmet is equipped for sideline communication. The quarterback is the only one with it, only one player on offense is allowed to have it on the field. It just helps the ref know that there aren't more than one on the field.

On a side note, I am not a New England fan, but Tom Brady is freaking amazing.
