Hi all,

I've been playing this free online FPS game called Combat Arms and I have to say I'm impressed. I'm not a big FPS player and so pretty much I suck, but the weapons, tactics, and environments are not only fun but strangely realistic. As for players jumping up and down to avoid fire and taking multiple hits to "kill" maybe not so realistic, but setting up sniping positions and running covering fire to box in enemy teams seems pretty real. Anyways another free time waster!

I have been playing for about an hour, pretty fun. Very much like CS, maybe not quite as well done. But I have only played one map.

It is an awesome game for FREE. Amazing... and my machine runs it fine so no one should have any problems.

I didn't see a way to add friends, and have a friends list? I don't have enough rank to create a clan either.

Yeah, there's no friends button thing. I should have Staff Sergeant by next week and I'll make a Neosmut Clan. I need to look up one of those free game speak programs so we could all talk realtime while we frag. Note, look at items carefully before purchasing, some are cosmetic and some boost your armor, communication, speed, etc.

How do you buy the different weapons or switch weapons? I seemed to only be able to switch to an M4 and buy a sight and silencer.

I didn't do too bad for me, went 8 kills, 8 deaths my 2nd game. I have never been great at these, Gibby is the one we need to get on there. He use to play CS competitively in tournaments.

Its an alright game, good for being free, reminds me of the game war rock.


If you want voice chat, download xfire, Xfire - Gaming Simplified its basically aim for gamers and has the ability to do a voice chat with a group of people.

Can Xfire run in the background? I use to have it for Warhammer 40k, but didn't use it much.

ya, during a game, you can press scrl lock + x to bring it up, but can rebind it.




I went 11 and 0 for like my 7th game I played



Fets, to buy the guns, you have to equip them first, to do that, click the first button at the top middle of the screen. You start with three, my favorite is the m16 on auto and carry the sniper in your 5th slot. If you want to get upgrades for hte other guns, you have to buy that gun then buy seperate upgrades for each. I recommend the 2nd acog because it shows hp and ammo near the crosshairs

Yeah, I figured out the weapons. I just got high score for a round, something like 25 - 22 kills/deaths. I was rocking the MP5. I need to reassign some keys but I am getting the hang of it.

I just noticed you can put another weapon in slot 5. Seems like you get plenty of cash too... I increased rank after like 5 games or something.

Blacksheep how is the clan coming? How can we find what games each other are playing (servers I mean)?

I might play here in a bit if anyone wants to get on.

Im saving my money up so that I can earn the 90 day ak I recommend always getting the short price to test the gun, then getting as long as possible if you like it.



For my 5th slot, I use the sniper, then use q to quick change back to the m16
