I searched the forums but didn't find anything. Have you guys seen this?

I think that's a pretty impressive DIY turret. He has details, pictures, and videos of the entire build on his site. I may only like it because it reminds me of Team Fortress 2 but I could see turrets being a fun addition once a year. Especially if they gave us a way to disable it. Something like a target on the front where upon being hit would prevent the turret from firing for 2 seconds. I could see it being cool if the scenario was setup right.

Wow, a Gibby sighting! Nice post, I did see that a week or two ago I think on slashdot or something. I think CNET ran it also didn't they? But yeah, no one has posted it here yet.

If I had the money I would build one. Actually I think Dobbs and I both have Spyder Pilots that are e-grip and worthless now. They could be used for the project. You could use hoppers instead of the q-loaders and save a ton of money on that part of the turret.

A couple of 20 ounce co2 tanks and you could be rocking that pretty cheap actually. Can you imagine carrying that onto the field to set up as part of your perimeter at a scenario?! lol.

Yeah, I'll probably be there. I'm going to try to test and clean out my gear later today. I'm trying to talk a coworker into coming as well. Hopefully they won't close off Australia.

Well, if you register at the field the day of I can all but guarantee you won't get on Australia from what I have been told. We are out in front with registration and they will fill the other teams first.

I don't think they will cut pre-registration to Australia though, so if you get a chance to pre-register in the next couple weeks that should get you on the team.
