Re: Fets' Tactics Quiz: 2

I have to disagree. Being pinned down is much more than psychological. While it is true that a hopper hold a finite amount of paintballs; I can almost guarantee you that it holds enough to allow teammates to flank a 'pinned down' opponent and shoot him from the side.

If you have 2 opponents laying suppressive fire on your bunker and they are doing a good job at it, then you are most literally 'pinned down' in your bunker.

I know I have been in situations where it became impossible to return fire due to the sheer volume of opponents shooting at my bunker, and there was no possible way I could have made a run for anywhere.

Re: Fets' Tactics Quiz: 2

I wouldn't be inlined to agree to your solution, Raven, if only simply for the fact that being caught in a storm of flying paint coming from 2 directions is not exactly a situation that is easily escaped, but that being said, it is possible to escape the situation, if only narrowly, provided you have the tools for the job... such as a smoke grenade.

Like I said, being pinned down is more of a psychological thing, i didn't say it was entirely psychological. if you're under fire by 2 people, then, yea, realistically, you're pinned in position, but instead of freaking out, let the opponent flank you and watch your sides.

Situational awareness, and being able to drown out the paint whizzing past your head to obtain it is difficult, at best, but at least it will give you half a chance.
