Paint barrel matches
I found this site and I shows the caliber that each paintball is so here you go:
Paintball Bore sizes - Special Ops Forum This is useful because the better the match the more accurate. BTW didn't know where to put this so I figured this would be best if it is in the wrong place fell free to relocate. |

There are actually a lot of factors that can change the size of a paintball. The gelatin coating that makes the shell of the ball is prone to shrinking or swelling depending on the temperature, humidity and length of time exposed to both. The info is a good reference, but nothing replaces matching your bore to paint at the time you are loading your hopper and pods right before you take the field.

Yeah, like RM said I have also found these sizing charts to be absolutely worthless.

I feel that it gives someone a range before they buy the paint I personally didn't use this because normally I rely on matching them myself I just thought that it would aid in choosing.

The best way to determine paint size to barrel size would probably to get some sort of freak kit. You can measure the best size before each game, elliminating the guess work and extreme factors that Redmonkey and Fets have brought up.

In dramatic weather changes, I've seen this make a huge difference. The majority of the players were shooting fine, but as the day went on and the weather got colder...balls started breaking like crazy. Dobbs changed to a smaller bore size and didn't break a ball after that. From what I've seen, they're definitely worth the money. A barrel kit will definitely be my next upgrade.

Thanks for posting the link. Although it isn't a perfect science, it does give the player an idea what barrel or what paint to buy. If you knew your favorite field only used a specific paintball, you could at least make your barrel purchase based on the manufacturers info. However, as a few people already mentioned, it is great to have the option of matching the barrel bore size with the paint right there on the field.
