The Qloader

DoroSports.com with secure online ordering | Paintball | Skateboard | Airsoft Supplies - Q-Loader 500 Round Paintball Hopper System w/Mod Kit

Been browsing around and around on the internet learning about all types of upgrades, and I gotta tell you... this one makes a lot of sense, especially if I am trying to go low profile, and it gets that hopper out of my field of view... any thoughts, comments?

Re: The Qloader

THe q-loader is a nice system, but it's finicky. It takes a while to get everything to work right. A friend of mine has one and is only mildly impressed.

If you're running an X7 or a Phenom, I'd suggest a low profile Tac-Cap

Re: The Qloader

It is tricky, the q-loader is well made but expensive and can ruin your day. Some people do like them, but you have limited ammo and a more complex system.

It is a good sniper system if you are playing a true sniper role because you get low profile and still a good amount of paint vs a tac cap.

My one friend really likes his q-loader, it has a lot to do with play style. I know more people that hated their q-loader than liked it, but there are still a lot of guys that really liked it.

So if it makes sense to you then it could probably work really well.

Re: The Qloader

You'll need to get an adapter to use it with a Tippmann, it replaces the cyclone I believe.

Yes, and you need a permanent modification where you cannot go back to using a cyclone once using Q-Loader. The little piece that sticks out from the gun and rests inside the cyclone has to be removed in order to fit the adapter. This will screw up your cyclone feed if you want it back on and will need a whole new side of the gun in order to use it normally.

You would just need the shell then I suppose, that isn't too bad if you are already spending so much on the q-loader setup. Will be more for a newer gun like Phenom though, I am sure it has to have some differences.

Re: The Qloader

Yeah I didn't read about the permanent mod to the gun til after posting this. If you want your old gun back you have to order that specific part from tippmann, which I assume will be expensive.

Re: The Qloader

Hm... I might as well almost do what 8up did and make a backpack feeder. It'd be cheaper but overkill for a sniper. Though a warp feed of some sort might not be out of the question if I do it right.

For the love o' pete, don't try taking a backpack hopper onto the field if you're going to play a sniper role.

IMO, use a tac cap, and maybe keep a standard X7 hopper handy of you're on the field and run into a situation where you need to load more paint.

You have the phenom which is nice and consistant. HPA and a barrel with bore options are the only other things that will make it more accurate. I think in a sniper role a low profile harness and some sort of concealable ghillie apparatus would be more useful to you than any marker upgrade.

Read about this guy:

Simo Häyhä - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He should be the patron saint of all snipers. The guy relied on simple things to make himself a good sniper instead of gear.

So you're saying my nickname should be "White Death"... I dunno man... that's a NAACP lawsuit if I ever heard one.
